ElevenLabs - Version 2 of its AI sound effects model
ElevenLabs has announced the second version of its AI VFX module, with significant technical improvements aimed at raising production quality and sound control. Users can now create longer and more accurate sound effects, with seamless integration into audio workflows.
Technical improvements
The update includes increased audio clip length from short pulses to clips of up to thirty seconds, with sample quality as high as 48 kHz. Seamless looping has also been added directly within the ElevenLabs Studio editor, making it easier to edit without interruption or loss of quality.
Control and production
Users can now create sound effects via text messages through the web app or API, and easily integrate these effects into audio production workflows, increasing flexibility of use and saving time on editing and generation.
SFX Library
The library includes improved search, the ability to save favorite effects, and a remix tool to apply quick changes to effects, giving users a more dynamic and creative experience in sound production.
Hardware support
The new SB-1 sound engine is launched with built-in MIDI connectivity, enabling real-time performance and expanding options for direct use of various devices, while optimizing hardware and software integration to facilitate professional productions.
Audio control
A comprehensive upgrade to its ElevenLabs product to enhance voice interaction with AI, with additions aimed at improving productivity and user experience, whether for everyday conversations or research projects.
Comprehensive voice upgrade
The update introduces three new modes: Summary to provide a quick summary of comments in about two minutes, Critique to analyze content in an editorial style, and Debate to present opposing viewpoints to test ideas. New male and female voices have also been added to give users greater control over the AI's personality while speaking.
