On January 3, 2025, Chandigarh-based startup Terafac announced raising a seed funding of ₹6.5 crore (~$800k) led by Inuka Capital with participation from Bharat Founders Fund and DEVC from Matrix Partners, along with support from Startup India Seed Fund. The company - founded in September 2021 by Anupe Khandelwal and Amrit Singh - is focused on developing an artificial intelligence layer to enable industrial robots to adapt to changing work environments, starting with its computer vision-based WeldT welding system. Terafac plans to execute 80 deployments across more than 20 customers during FY 2026, targeting annual recurring revenue of ₹8 crore (about $1 million). The company did not disclose details of the methodology used to measure these projections.
