The Internet Archive operates as a donation-supported nonprofit organization and does not rely on paid subscriptions or usage plans; the organization provides free access to digital content, with the option to support it financially through donations. The free plan (Free Access) costs nothing and provides access to the digital library and the ability to search within the content, offering a wide range of resources that include text, videos, audio, software, images, websites, and more. It also allows searching by URL or keywords and offers an Advanced Search feature, in addition to the ability to search through more than 1 trillion web pages in the Web Archive. There are no paid plans within the Internet Archive model, as the organization does not rely on subscriptions but instead offers a donation option to support the continuity of its services. Donation amounts include $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, and $1,000, or a custom amount, with the option to choose between a one-time or monthly payment. You can also add an optional $0.51 to cover processing fees, and payment methods include credit card or cryptocurrency donations to support the organization.
